Who we are
Home Automations provides smart home planning, setup and troubleshooting in Dublin, Ireland, and remotely. For anything about your data, email homeautomations.ie@gmail.com.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send through the contact form, the optional home questionnaire or by email:
- your name and email address;
- the service you are interested in, remote or visit preference and, optionally, your neighbourhood;
- the platforms, devices and problem or idea you describe.
Please do not send passwords, your full home address, camera recordings or other sensitive information in an enquiry. The questionnaire page does not send or store anything; it only prepares a summary you can copy into an email.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, assess compatibility and prepare a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible agreement and our legitimate interest in answering messages we receive. We do not use your details for marketing, do not sell them and do not make automated decisions about you.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under their own safeguards for international transfers.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months of our last contact. If we agree work together, the related messages are kept as long as needed for that work and for our legal and tax records.
Cookies
This site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The language you choose is not stored.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing homeautomations.ie@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Access during a service
If a job needs access to your apps or devices, we agree the access, its duration and how it is removed before connecting. Access is removed at handover unless ongoing support is agreed. We do not keep copies of your account credentials.
